Amanda is a math major who works at a plasma donation center. She also sometimes blogs at missamandalyn.blogspot.com. If you happen across her in the wild, approach slowly with Wild Strawberry Crystal Light and pepperoni pizza to make friends. Don’t ask her about life plans because she doesn’t know. Stories about animals and observations of the weather are welcome subjects, and terrible puns are highly encouraged.

Areas of Expertise: State Capitols, Elephants, Irish music, obscure historical figures forgotten to all except me and maybe five podcasters, math that isn’t exactly applicable to life except maybe, and spontaneous movie quotes 

 Favorite Disneyland Ride: Usually Pirates of the Caribbean 

Shoe size: Anywhere from an 8 to a 9. Shoes are weird; they should really be more standardized. I’ll start a petition as soon as I know what I want to eat for dinner. Let me know if you want to sign.

Favorite dinosaur: Nessie 

Fandoms: Harry Potter, Disney, Star Wars, some superheroes, and Jane Austen 

Spirit animal: Probably a tortoise, because they always look like they have super important business to attend to, but really they have no idea what they’re doing. Also they’re slow and have a shell. My gosh… I’m exactly a tortoise *insert existential crisis* 

Typical Genres: Bad poetry, historical fiction, things I think are funny, and realistic fiction
